防範假冒 CRA 電話詐騙：來電顯示不可信！
前情提要 : Luke會計師，今天有幸接到了自稱是CRA的詐騙電話，這兩天一連打了四次，一開始非常正式的詢問，然後就是問你是不是有未申報的收入
特別注意: 1-800-959-8281 雖為 CRA 官方電話，但詐騙犯常透過號碼竄改技術（Spoofing）偽造顯示，稅局人員不會透過 1800 的號碼來電。
你要知道: 稅局不會主動問你有沒有漏報稅，他們會直接開稅單、直接扣押銀行帳戶。你還不夠有資格讓他們電話聯繫你。
你的動作:
(1) 掛斷並主動回撥： 絕不透露 SIN 碼、帳密或驗證碼。掛斷後由您自行撥打 1-800-959-8281 向專員核對紀錄。
(2) 認清詐騙特徵： 真 CRA 絕不要求禮物卡/加密貨幣/e-Transfer 付款、絕不威脅逮捕遣返、絕不索取銀行密碼或 2FA 驗證碼。
(3) 登入官網確認： 直接登入 Canada CRA My Account，至「Mail / Correspondence」查看是否有官方信件。
(4) 聯繫會計師： 聯繫我們事務所，由專業會計師直接跟CRA對接討論，你不需要回答任何問題

Beware of Fake CRA Call Scams: Caller ID Can Be Spoofed!
Background: Luke CPA received a fake CRA scam call today—four times over two straight days. It started with a formal tone, then shifted to asking if there was any unreported income.
Important Note: While 1-800-959-8281 is an official CRA phone number, scammers frequently use Caller ID Spoofing to fake it. CRA agents will never call you from an 1-800 number.
What You Need to Know: The CRA will not proactively call to ask if you missed reporting income. They will simply issue a tax assessment or garnish your bank account directly. You aren't "qualified" enough to get a polite phone check-in from them!
Action Steps:
(1) Hang Up & Call Back: Never disclose your SIN, passwords, or verification codes. Hang up and dial 1-800-959-8281 yourself to verify the record with an agent.
(2) Spot the Red Flags: The real CRA will never demand payment via gift cards, crypto, or e-Transfer; never threat you with arrest/deportation; and never ask for bank passwords or 2FA codes.
(3) Check Your CRA Account: Log directly into CRA My Account via Canada.ca and check "Mail / Correspondence" for official notices.
(4) Contact Your CPA: Reach out to our firm. Our professional team will handle communications with the CRA directly—you don't need to answer any questions yourself.
